Happy 10th Birthday, Jackson!

Jackson was a wedding present.  He was five weeks old when he joined our family.  He has been with us through three moves - San Antonio to Nashville, Nashville back to San Antonio, and then San Antonio to Fort Worth.  He had to have his tail amputated when he was three years old because he wagged it so much and injured it.  That is one happy dog!  Weighing in at 120 pounds, Jackson is a lap dog through and through.  He still has a passion for tennis balls, sticks and anything else he can fetch.  His favorite hobby now is laying underneath Ella and Emilee's chairs during meals waiting for anything to fall.  

We celebrated today with a special morning walk followed by a birthday party.  Ella and Emilee's friends helped out by hiding dog biscuits all over the backyard for him to find.  His favorite gift was a stuffed hedgehog that grunts when he bites it - it is his fourth one.  I truly wish I was as awesome as Jackson thinks I am.  Happy Birthday, Puppyhead!  We love you!
