Gramps came for a planning visit. He and Ella are working on their design for their Spring garden. They have decided to create a garden of flowers that will attract hummingbirds and butterflies. They started their time together at McDonald's to get some brain food, then off to the library to look at resources, then to the nursery to scope out the plants, next to the Wild Bird Store, and to end their adventure they stopped for ice cream.

I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to spend time with the girls. We are going to have a beautiful flower garden with all kinds of birds and butterflys that will enjoy it also.
Ahhh...I love it that your dad gets to do things like that with your girls! What a fun - and thorough =) - adventure! That Ella is a cutie! Love her skirt! And love you! =)
I want Gramps and Ella to plant a garden in our yard, too!!
